Avery Cochrane – Shapeshifting On A Saturday Night – Single Review – moramaypr

Review By Darren McIntyre

Avery Cochrane is an Alt / Indie pop musician from Seattle, Washington who is known for her emotive lyrics, cinematic sound & live performances. Avery dropped her last single Existential Crisis At The Tennis Club which brought her attention and expanded her ever growing fanbase, Avery releases her new emotive single Shapeshifting On A Saturday Night which I will be reviewing for you today, please settle back and ready yourself to be taken to a far off place as you feel the emotion oozing from this incredible new single.

Shapeshifting On A Saturday Night – Sweet, clean acoustic strumming chords let this track come to our attention as Avery brings her smouldering vocals that just sets the tone for this incredible piece of music. The addition on mellow keys running through the track just elevates the song somewhat, the snare drum punches let the rhythm section control the groove as we feel ourselves being transported with Avery as she allows the song to unravel and let us feel the depth, emotion and soulful lyrics that are oozing from every pour. The melodic track is telling it’s own story as we tap our toes to this well written, mellow groover track that instantly lets you lose yourself in these fantastic, mellow toned grooves that are letting us walk the story with Avery as she really digs deep with her emotions as we let the track wrap itself around us.
