“‘Between Memories’ aims to highlight the immersive journey of one’s relationship with their own memories and what a nuanced process it can sometimes be. We wanted that to be showcased by the contrast of moods throughout the song, alternating between an approach that was more aggressive and one that was more subtle.”
Formed in early 2023, the kinetic 4 piece of Daniel Moreira (vocals & guitar), Carlos Carneiro (guitar), Luis Almeida (bass) and Frederico Lopes (drums) hail from Vila Real, Portugal. They combine powerful guitar-driven arrangements, melodic vocals, emotional songwriting and spectacular drumming into a sound that balances heaviness with strong hooks, atmosphere and a distinct sense of identity.
They quickly established themselves with a series of singles before releasing their debut album ‘Inner Self’ through Eclipse Records in December 2024. The album introduced the band’s approach to their modern vision and marked the beginning of an increasingly active live presence; with performances and festival appearances across Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom gaining favourable comparisons from fans and critics alike to Alter Bridge, Shinedown and Tremonti.
Following the release of ‘Inner Self’, In We Fall continued to expand their live activity and reach audiences beyond their home country, building a growing presence across Europe while further developing their musical identity. The new offering produced by Daniel of the band, mixed and mastered by Daniel Cardoso (Anathema, Weather Systems) gives only a glimpse behind the curtain of what is to come striking forward for the rest of the year and into 2027.
