Chantel McGregor is a guitarist / singer / songwriter from Bradford, England who has been blazing a trail in the Blues / Rock world for the last few years. Chantel attended Leeds College Of Music where she gained a number of awards including Outstanding Musicianship , First Class Honours Degree In Popular Music, 2011 she won Young Artist Of The Year 2012, Best Female Vocalist 2013, Guitarist Of The Year & Best Female Vocalist, 2014 sees her win Guitarist Of The Year. Chantel has given us Like No Other in 2011, Lose Control in 2015, Bury’d Alive in 2019, Stupid Love in 2020, Shed Sessions Vol 1 + 2 2021 and in Mat 2025 Chantel delivered us The Healing, tonight Chantel drops into Glasgow at a hot and sweaty G2 and gets us ready to rock the house, please settle in as i get us ready to be dazzled by this incredible musician, as the lights dim Chantel & the boys shuffle on stage, say hello and dive straight into –

I Will Breathe – The track erupts into life as Chantel comes forward and brings us a cool guitar lick that really sets the tone for tonight as her smouldering, melodic vocals give Glasgow what they came for. The whole arrangement is a heavier, groovier mature track that just showcases Chantel and what she is all about, the deep, delicious, dark bassline is wrapping itself around this killer opening track as we stand in awe of this incredible musician as she really brings the groove to us tonight. The rhythm section is controlling the beat from the back of the room as the place is stamping it’s feet to this growling rock n roll monster which is the perfect way to open a show let me tell you, Chantel takes centre stage as she cuts loose with an incredible solo that really gives us goosebumps, as the track finishes Chantel hollers out Hello Glasgow and we duly answer back as we roll into –

Broken Heartless Liar – The heavier riffs continue as we roll into another new track from her phenomenal new record The Healing as the pounding bass kicks really bring this track to life. Chantel’s soulful, bluesy vocals are just timeless as they let this killer new offering flow as we really welcome the new tracks that are and will be showcased tonight, the snare drum punches are filling the room as the cymbal fills really give the track depth, attitude and direction. We come face to face with another crisp, clean guitar solo that really elevates this track as the gritty riffs are following through as the boys really dig deep and come at us with all they have. There is no one better on the circuit who brings their A-Game when they perform on stage, just incredible, Chantel chats to us about the horrendous buzzing sound and asks the boys what’s going on, the sound man is like let me check and after some time we discover it’s the bass drum feed lol, next up comes –

Lose Control – A rasping, gritty guitar riff brings this track to life as the thundering rhythm section comes in and brings the groove as the cymbal crashes rain down on us as this foot stomping, raspy beast rears it’s head. Chantel lets ther vocals flow effortlessly through the venue as we really feel the energy ripping through Glasgow tonight as we are being treated to something special from this sweet, soulful musician as she sets out her stall and goes about her business. The place is rocking for sure as we feel the energy pouring from the stage as the band settles into their stride and gives us a no nonsense rock n roll show that is just on the money, we are loving the new tunes and I think this is Chantel’s finest work to date, the crowd show their appreciation as we stroll into –

Stand On My Own – The gravelly, rocking riffs continue as we get are real punchy groove laden track that allows Chantel to really express herself as she elevates this new offering to another level. The bass kicks along with a punchy snare drum beat let the rhythm section do it’s thing as the dark, delicious bassline wanders freely through this cool new track, we are feeling the rawness, emotion pouring from the stage tonight as Chantel & the boys just deliver a real crisp, clean set that just shows the maturity coming from this real mellow musician as she just gets better and better every time she plays. The new songs are going down well as we just ease into a new chapter from Chantel as she just oozes quality, maturity and flawless guitar playing that just catches your attention, we stroll into –

Your Fever – Chantel turns to the boys and says shall we play and a huge cheer comes from the crowd tonight as this foot stomping monster comes to life as we feel the riffs oozing from the stage. There is a real punchy groove coming from the band tonight as we really get into the track as she rips on her guitar as the shredding licks fill the venue as this punchy beast rears it’s head, the boys are bringing the heat as this groover really unfolds as the slick, clean licks ooze towards us as the pounding bass kicks wrap themselves around us as we really let the music tell it’s own story. Chantel is really giving it to us tonight as she really lets go with her soaring vocals that are just mesmerising as a cool sweet guitar solo comes at us as the boys deliver the perfect groove that really lets Chantel deliver an incredible solo that has us all punching the air with delight, we move onto –

Anaesthetized – Chantel lets the boys go have a break as she takes the stage and brings us a real colossal tune that just stops us in our tracks as she lets the guitar picks do their thing. Chantel’s haunting, melodic vocals are just incredible as she really delivers a show stopping performance that just cements her as one of the finest musicians on the circuit today, the place is silent as we are fixed on the stage as we are witnessing something special from this talented young lady as she surges forward with this real emotion filled track that really makes you think and ponder. The tone is just insane as we feel every note, tone and vocal that comes at us for sure, Chantel is pouring everything into this track as she tells her own story that really resonates with us for sure, the place is just holding it’s breathe as we watch her stroll through this classic setlist track that leads us onto –

Crazy Little Voodoo – The boys return and normal service resumes as Chantel straps on her guitar and brings this track to life with a cool, raspy shredding riff that is accompanied by a punchy rhythm section. The cool full on bassline is dropping killer grooves that just let the track breathe as we feel the soulful, melodic vocals take this track off down the road as the place gets into the groove, the snare drum punches combined with the cymbal crashes really gives this track a raw, edgy feel that just brings the place to life as rock and roll with this incredible artist as she brings out the big guns and socks it to us tonight. The foot stomping groover is really giving the place what it came for tonight as she steps forward and lets rip with another killer solo that gives the track depth, attitude and bags of swagger that just get us all warm and fuzzy inside as we roll into –

Tears – Cool guitar picks let the track come at us as Chantel leans in and lets her awesome vocals lead the track down the road as we feel the emotion oozing from the stage tonight. The rhythm section kicks in as the pounding bass kicks come through as the rumbling snare punches work well with the cymbal snaps that let the track open and soar, the heavier, rocky mid section  really let  Chantel deliver a faultless, well crafted set that is building and building as we really feel the depth and emotion pour from this super talented musician as she wows the crowd with her incredible guitar licks as the boys provide the perfect backdrop to deliver a cool, punchy, emotion filled set that is just on the money, Chantel is telling jokes and the boys are filling in with little anecdotes that have the crowd in stitches, I will tell all later –

Echoes – A sweet, mellow guitar pick lets the track open as the punchy rhythm section provides the groove as Chantel lets her soulful vocals lead the way as we are just fixed on the stage as this incredible track makes itself known to us. The cool funky bassline is dropping killer grooves that just wraps itself around this epic arrangement, the place is still as the band really takes us on a rollercoaster ride that really lets us know that Chantel is just flourishing. The cool, punchy rhythm section is commanding the room as this mesmerising track builds and builds as we really let Chantel take us on the journey with her and the boys. A slick, crisp solo erupts and we just watch in awe as she rips through Glasgow tonight with ease as the place is just feeling the magic oozing from the stage tonight as the band delivers a cool, faultless set that is certainly up there as a gig of the yeay for me, but again what do I know, next up comes –

Undercover – A cool raspy guitar riff wanders through the intro as a cool snare drum punch fills the air as this cool number fills the air as the boys bring the groove with their killer beats. Chantel’s incredible vocals flow effortlessly through the venue as we are really digging the new material as it just pops as the place is nodding along to this fantastic musician as she really gives us a phenomenal new album that is just full of surprises as she grows with every new arrangement that comes our way. We are tearing through the set and time is passing us by as we feel the energy, groove and real magnetism grab our attention as we stroll into –

April – Chantel chats to the boys and asks are we in key and the place roars with delight as the 3 on stage just laugh out loud as we settle into this incredible number. Chantel is really immersing herself in her craft as the track just comes at us with a real fierceness that is just incredible as the guitar licks pour from the stage as the rhythm section provides the backdrop to this awesome piece of music. Basslines are rippling through the track and just wrap themselves around this mesmerising track as Chantel stands centre stage and really offloads with no effort at all which is just mindblowing. The place is just still as we feel the incredible track really begin to open and show us what it’s made of as a real slick, crisp guitar lick fills the venue as we just let Chantel deliver a phenomenal piece of music that grabs your attention. Chantel is just a real nice, down to earth young lady who I call a friend who has given me loads of time to chat with interviews and our domination of Ninja products as we try to take over the world with our advertising strategy which I hope one day will work, we are speeding towards the end of the set as we stroll into –

Truth Will Out – A cool melodic vocal pours from the stage as Chantel lets her soulful vocals lead the track as we watch in sheer joy as the rhythm section comes through and gives the track body. The snare drum punches work really well with a killer bassline that is giving the arrangement it’s own identity as we get a cool funky piece that again is a change for this little pocket rocket as she shows us her softer side with this emotion filled number that is taking us on the journey with Chantel and the boys as we feel every note, vocals and groove that has flowed through Glasgow tonight, the night has been filled with stories, jokes, ribbing from each band member and of course incredible music that is just so good for the soul, we reach the last track of the night as we get the lead track from the album –

The Healing – A sweet, cool guitar pick opens the track as a deep, funking bassline gives the track depth and soulful emotion as Chantel lets her incredible vocals tell their own story. We are standing feeling the groove wrap itself around us as the final track of the night really showcases this phenomenal musician, there is a real stillness filling the air as the band brings home another killer performance as the track burts into life with a shredding guitar riff that is backed by a powering rhythm section that really adds depth to the arrangement for sure. The guitar playing is just incredible as we watch her stroll through the song and really deliver a faultless track that has her awesome vocals steeped in the fabric of this awesome song, we have been treated to something special tonight let me tell you.
