Bryan Guy Adams aka Bryan Adams is a singer / songwriter / musician / record producer / photographer from Kingston, Ontario, Canada via Plymouth England who has been active since 1975 and is estimated to have sold between 75 – 100 million records worldwide. Bryan has won 20 Juno Awards & a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for visual media, been inducted into the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Canada;s Walk Of Fame, The Canadian Broadcast Hall Of Fame. Bryan has given us 15 studio albums & on the 29th August he drops his 16th studio release Roll With The Punches & from that comes the new funktastic single A Little More Understanding which I will be reviewing for you today.
A Little More Understanding – A cool rasping guitar riff comes at us as this real funky, blues rocker kicks off with Bryan’s gravelly, soulful vocals that just set the tone as this toe tapping beast rolls on. We have real funky, groove laden basslines that just wrap themselves around this incredible piece of music that is a shift in tone for the usual gritty rocker, the punchy rhythm section is hitting us with a deep bass kicks as the snare drum grooves allow the track to flow freely as this fankadelic bruiser builds and builds. A mesmerising Hammond style keys section is just elevating this colossal track to the next level as Bryan cuts loose with a real grooving track that just makes you want to grab your gal and swirl her around the dancefloor as the infectious, slick, crisp track just delivers a solid, funky, groove laden melody that just grabs your attention as we rock out with a real dark, delicious funk laden bassline that takes this track onwards as Bryan lets his epic vocals take this monster off down the road as we just let the funk wrap itself around us and just let the band take us to somewhere new as they drop the hammer with their musicality.
