Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast are an Americana roots rock outfit currently residing in Asheville, North Carolina, but she was born in Detroit and raised in New York City. Caitlin and the boys have been influenced by the sounds of East Coast rock n roll, Motown & roots music. The band have been lucky enough to share the stage with acts such as Mavis Staples, Marcus King, Blackberry Smoke, The Avett Brothers & Greta Van Fleet & Robert Jon & The Wreck. The band brought out the EP Blueprints to rave reviews and has continued to build on their impressive rise to the top and today. The band drops a killer new single, Heart Of Gold, from the soon-to-be-released album Heirloom. They continue the theme by bringing us their fantastic new blues-inspired ballad track, Hello My Dear, which I will be reviewing for you today.
Hello,Hello, My Dear – We get the track moving with a real crisp guitar pick that welcomes epic Hammond-style keys that just let this incredible arrangement breathe. The rhythm section leans in with a cool snare drum punch that comes armed with a smooth bass kick that gives this track depth, emotion and a real solid foundation, Caitlin brings her colossal, melodic, soulful vocals that just wrap themselves around this incredible ballad style track that sees us grabbing our partner and waltzing her around the floor as the groove juas grabs a hold of us and lets us feel the magic that is flowing from this fantastic offering as Caitlin & the boys continue their rise to the top with another killer piece that is sure to be a hit when it hits the airwaves, one thing I will say is catch this band if you can as you won’t be disappointed.
