Review By Darren McIntyre
Keep This Up are a post-hardcore outfit hailing from Peterborough, England, who originally formed in 2019 but didn’t really hit their stride till 2022 with the release of their acclaimed EP Paper Houses. The boys have been busy releasing a string of hard-hitting singles and performing relentlessly throughout the UK and are getting ready to release a new EP slated for release in 2026. To whet our appetites for this new offering, the boys drop their growling new single, Remedy, which I will be reviewing for you today.
Remedy – The track bursts into life with a real growling guitar riff that is accompanied by a pounding rhythm section that kicks in the doors and really brings the heat to this awesome piece of music. The twin guitar assault is hitting us with killer harmonies that really let the track open and soar as we feel the energy pouring from this foot-stomping, fist-pumping bruiser. The tempo is a real punch in the face as the crisp, meaty bassline drops in and gives us dark, brooding, delicious tones that let this track come at us with all it has. The melodic, growler vocals really let the track tell its own story as the boys dig deep and give it to us straight with their infectious groove, rasping guitar fills and a cool, thundering rhythm section that controls the groove as it weaves its way through this crunching, deep growler piece that just grabs your attention from start to finish.
