Cryin’,Parker Barrow are a blues – infused Southern rock outfit from Nashville, Tennessee who originally came to our attention in 2023 with the release of their debut album Jukebox Gypsies. The band take their name from Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow who were the infamous bank robbers in 1930’s great depression, the band have been honing their live groove with support slots to Robert Jon & The Wreck, Them Dirty Roses, The Kentucky Headhunters & Feel. The band have been hard at work in the studio bringing us their colossal new EP Hold The Mash and to celebrate they embarked on a UK Tour at the tail end of 2025, fast forward 2026 and July sees them conquer the UK with a headline tour in July. To tease us the band dropped their killer new single Glass Eyes Cryin which I will be reviewing for you today.

Glass Eyes Cryin’ – The track kicks off with a full-on bassline that gets us all warm and fuzzy as the rhythm section kicks down the doors and hits us with a punchy snare drum beat that brings the bass kicks for good measure. Megan lets her smouldering. Blues-soaked vocals take the track off down the road as the cool keys add depth and swagger to this incredible new offering. The band AE are just getting better and better every time they bring us new music, and it just tells us that they are ready to take on the world and give us a reason to have a huge smile on our faces. The crisp guitar licks are working so well in the arrangement as they ripple through the midsection and really elevate the whole piece as we feel the energy pulsing through the track as the band lay it all on the line with a real sultry, blues-infused rock ‘n’ roll track that has us instantly reaching for the repeat button as we can’t get enough of this Nashville band as they tease us with some new music that tells us that they are coming for us in a big way in 2026.
