A powerful live capturing the entirety of “Tamam Shud” alongside highlights from the acclaimed debut “Solitaire”

One year after the release of their deeply immersive progressive rock masterpiece “Tamam Shud”, Sicilian band Alcantara return with “In Concert”, a stunning live album scheduled for release on June 19, 2026 through Oskar Records on CD, digital platforms and streaming services.

“Tamam Shud” was released on June 6, 2025, and remains one of the most rewarding modern progressive rock releases of recent years. Originally released on vinyl and now available on CD through Oskar Records, the album established Alcantara as one of Italy’s most compelling contemporary progressive acts.

Blending progressive rock, psychedelia and blues, “Tamam Shud” unfolds gradually, revealing its depths through repeated listening. Drawing comparisons to Pink Floyd and Riverside while maintaining a distinctive identity of its own, the album is driven by the expressive vocals of Sergio Manfredi Sallicano, whose performances in both Italian and English create an atmosphere that is equally intimate and cinematic.

The album’s title derives from a Persian phrase meaning “it is finished,” though the music suggests not finality but transformation: the closing of one chapter and the uncertain promise of the next. It is an album that rewards patience, inviting listeners into a rich internal landscape of imagery, emotion and space.
