A.A. Williams is a cellist/pianist/guitarist/singer-songwriter from London who blends genres together that deliver a heavy tone that has her standing out from the rest. After making her debut appearance at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands and off the back of her self-titled EP, A.A. Williams has since toured the globe with the likes of Cult Of Luna, Explosions In The Sky, Russian Circles, Sleep Token & The Sisters Of Mercy. A. A. has established herself as a headline artist, including a show at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall; standout festival appearances have dovetailed with her two albums, Forever Blue in 2020 & As The Moon Rests in 2022. AA Williams is back with her haunting new single Wolves, which I will be reviewing for you today.

The Wolves – A mellow piano tone lingers through the intro as AA brings us her incredible, haunting vocals that just allow the track to breathe before the rhythm section kicks in the doors and lets us feel the solid snare drum punches that accompany this incredible track. The snared drum rolls ease through the track as the fantastic piano and guitar tones linger as this crunching, thought-provoking number grabs our attention and whisks us away to really find ourselves. The whole arrangement is spectacular in every way as we get inside the head of this incredible musician as she lets us feel the emotion weaving its way through this incredible number. The track is just peeling away the layers to let us feel the depth of this artist as she navigates through her mind with a classy, mellow song that is full of symphonic, mesmerising, haunting themes that just allow us to be transported with AA Williams and come out the other side a much better person.
