We Three Kings – Another teaser from their next album

Single – Shotgun

Release Date – 27th February 2026

Review by Linda McDermott

We Three Kings are a band with a sharp vision and a winning formula that just works. Their take on modern rock ’n’ roll is raw, punchy, and built around fuzzed-up riffs that get straight to the point. A gritty blues-rock edge runs through everything they do, backed by a tight, focused energy that gives their sound real bite and helps them stand out from the crowd.

The duo, made up of Rich on vocals and guitar with Pete driving things from behind the drum kit, keep their music moving with purpose. The result is a riff-led attack that sits comfortably alongside the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Wolfmother, and Rival Sons. As a duo, they don’t hold back; everything is turned up and aimed straight at you. That same approach carries over to the live setting, where their shows are built on energy, volume, and momentum. It’s a combination that’s steadily winning them new fans and helping them carve out a place on the UK rock and festival circuit.

“Shotgun” is the fourth single to be lifted from their upcoming second album, Stone Cold Kiss, due for release on 10th April 2026. It follows December’s single “Joyrider”, a rock ‘n’ roll song the band have made their calling card.

The track builds with intent from the opening seconds, the drums setting the pace before Rich’s thick, fuzzy guitar drops in and locks everything together. Once the vocals arrive, the song shifts up another gear and doesn’t slow down. With big riffs, driving rhythms, and a vocal line that sticks after one listen, the track keeps the momentum as it moves forward with real confidence. It feels like another clear statement of what the band are about, while also giving a strong hint of what the album still has in store.

One thing that stands out is how clearly the vocals sit in the mix. Even with the weight of the music behind it, every word comes through cleanly, which makes a difference when the chorus is this easy to grab onto. For anyone who loves a proper shout-along moment, and I include myself in that, the song ticks that box without trying too hard.

Taken as a whole, the single feels like another confident step forward. It’s loud, direct, and packed with the kind of riff-driven punch the band does best, while still leaving the sense that there’s more to come when the full album lands. If this track is anything to go by, Stone Cold Kiss looks set to deliver exactly what their growing fanbase wants: big riffs, real energy, and songs built to be played loud. The band

sound focused, fired up, and ready to push things further, and this release only strengthens the feeling that they’re very much on the rise.

If you like fuzzed-up music with a punky rock and roll edge, and I do, you’ll want to go and listen to their powerful back catalogue of original music, which includes the 2024 album ‘By Royal Appointment’, which is available to stream or download across all digital platforms.

The band are releasing a video to support the single via their YouTube channel on the day of release.

The band will be using TowerRok Festival @ Nightrain, Bradford, on Saturday, March 7th, to showcase the song as their single release party.
