Dead Reynolds – Songs inspired by real-life struggles

Single – Face Me

Release Date – 27th February 2026

Review by Linda McDermott

Dead Reynolds are a full-on energetic alt rock band fuelled by passion, determination, and heart. Writing songs inspired by real-life struggles, their music connects whether it’s echoing around underground venues, blasting from festival main stages, or powering your latest Spotify playlist. If you haven’t come across them yet, now is the time to change that.

They are: –

Rossco Cornwell – Vocals,

Dom Greenwood – Guitar / backing vocals,

Ben Knowles – Lead guitar

Zena Holland – Bass

Luke Green – Drums

The band are gaining serious momentum, with support from Kerrang! TV, and radio, Rock Sound, Powerplay Magazine, and more who are helping push their music to a growing global audience. Their lyrics tackle real issues including mental health, addiction and loss, themes that give their songs emotional weight while still delivering the punch and uplift that great alternative rock should.

Hailing from East Anglia, Dead Reynolds blend alternative rock and pop punk with big anthemic melodies and enough twists to keep things interesting. One new fan summed it up perfectly, saying “they sound like a mix of all their favourite bands,” and it’s hard to disagree. If you enjoy the likes of, Bring Me The Horizon, Linkin Park, Those Damn Crows, Yungblud, Massive Wagons, or Papa Roach, you’d be hard pushed not to find something to love here. A dive into their back catalogue, from their debut album Breathe With Strangers to a string of strong singles, shows exactly what they’re about and why they’re a band built for the live stage.

Dom says: “This song lives in the moment where you can no longer avoid yourself. It’s about looking back with clear eyes, sitting with the weight of your choices, and realising that growth begins with uncomfortable truth. Change isn’t loud or dramatic here, it’s quiet, personal, and deeply human. At its heart, this song is about the kind of honesty that stings before it heals. It explores the internal conversations we try to silence, the memories we replay, and the slow process of accepting things we wish were different. It’s not about blame, it’s about understanding, release, and finally letting yourself move forward.”

That sense of reflection and emotional honesty runs right through the track. Face Me opens with a driving beat that immediately grabs attention and sets the tone for what follows. Musically it hits hard, with heavy riffs and a strong rhythmic pull that feels made to be played loud. You can easily picture fans packed against the barrier, heads moving in time as the song ebbs and flows, arms raised when the chorus kicks in and the crowd joining in at the top of their voices.

Dead Reynolds have found a melting pot of sounds that pulls from across the rock spectrum without losing their identity. The result is a single that feels honest, powerful, and built for connection, whether through headphones or in a packed venue. If this release is anything to go by, their upward climb looks set to continue.

The band are having a single release party at The Call Of The Wild Trailblazer event at The Corporation in Sheffield on Saturday, 28th February so be sure to get along to that if you can.
