Kickin Valentina has proven to be one of the most popular musical exports from the U.S. to the UK and EU. The hard rock quartet has toured British and European festivals and clubs frequently in the past few years and is preparing for a return in May on the heels of their new release, Raw Trax, B-Sides And Bootlegs, available from Mighty Music and Target Group DK.
As the title suggests, the new release is a compilation featuring three solid, unreleased original tracks, three live recordings and two demos all of which feature the swagger and attitude for which the band is known. Our publisher, Glen Parkes wrote a wonderful review that mirrored my own feelings, so rather than just repeat what he did, I thought it would be more fun to extend the dialogue with Kickin Valentina singer D.K. Revelle.
D.K. joined me last year to discuss 2024’s Star Spangled Fist Fight. We picked up right where we left off, talking about all the positive vibes in the Kickin Valentina camp, the anticipation of the upcoming tour and what else the future might hold for this high-octane quartet.
