There’s no shortage of bands trying to capture that raw rock ’n’ roll spark, but We Three Kings have never had to chase it, they’ve had it nailed from the start. This no-nonsense duo, with Rich handling guitar and vocals and Pete driving things from behind the kit, keep their sound lean, loud, and built around riffs that hit with real intent. There’s no overcomplicating things here, just a clear understanding of what works and the confidence to stick to it.

Their take on modern rock ’n’ roll blends a gritty blues-rock edge with a punchy, straight-to-the-point delivery that makes an instant impact. The riffs come thick and fast, the rhythms land hard, and everything is delivered with a tight, focused energy that gives their music real bite. It’s a sound that grabs you quickly and doesn’t let go, built for repeat listens and nodding heads from the first play.

Despite being a two-piece, there’s nothing lacking in the weight or presence of what they do. Rich’s guitar work fills every corner with fuzzed-up grit, while Pete’s drumming keeps things driving forward with a solid beat that is the backbone to their tracks. Together, they create something that feels bigger than the two of them, proving that you don’t need a full line-up to make a serious impact when the chemistry is this strong. And, of course, there’s Bonesy, their silent, skeletal bandmate, adding that extra bit of character that’s become part of the band’s identity.

This is the fifth and final single and the title track from their new album, both landing on the same day, and it gives a strong sense of what the full record has in store. Kicking off with that familiar fuzzed-up edge, they launch straight in with energy and power, locking into exactly what their fans have come to expect. It’s direct, punchy, and full of attitude, with everything coming at you full force through the speakers, daring you to turn it up that bit louder. There’s that familiar urge to grab an air guitar, jump around the living room, and get stuck into the harmonies, which says everything about how instantly engaging it is.

Not only does it work brilliantly as a standalone single, but it also opens the album, and it’s a bold way to set the tone. Straight away, you know exactly what you’re in for, and it wastes no time getting you there.

It moves at a relentless pace that feels built for a crowd, with a chorus that’s easy to latch onto. More than anything though, it captures what We Three Kings do best, keeping things, loud, in your face and completely unapologetic.
