“Ode to Desari”
Well what is there to be said about this lad and his second single “This Moment” where this extremely talented guy plays all the instruments, sings and produced this epic story of meeting and now being with the love of his life.
Starting off at breakneck pace with guitar licks before crashing drums lead us into a vocal reminiscent of Brett Michaels (Poison) the USA glam rock icons kicks in it is safe to say that this is one of those happy “Sunny Day” songs for the summer months we have the makings of a classic here as we allude to a love story in the making.
This tune has punchy lyric after punchy lyric, I dare you not to be crying these lyrics out as you listen to this masterclass as it closes with its repetitive “This Moment” keeping the tempo.
The highlight for me is the ‘woah woah woahs” throughout the chorus but who can’t relate to lyrics such as “getting paid on a Friday night”, “taking his girl out”, “going a long drive”, “making out” listing to our favourite tunes an allude to “The Widhearts” whilst dreaming of our future. “Most of us have been there”.
As the song careers along and we mid song get another iconic musical salvo that is delivered with the definitive sound of Def Leppard keeping the retro feel going.
Given that this is only Bam Bam,s second release it is safe to say that with a tune of this magnitude under his belt he won’t be flying under the radar from “This Moment” on I see starry skys and a Rosey future if he continues to write songs as powerful and meaningful as this tribute to his loving partner.
