Review by Glen Parkes | Jace Media Music
New York singer-songwriter Jessica Lynn is back with “Truckin’”, a punchy country-rock single that taps into her rock roots while delivering a message about determination, ambition and refusing to stand still.
Released in May 2026 through Daydreamer Records, this track sees Jessica embracing the freedom to explore her sound beyond traditional country boundaries. With her reputation as a powerhouse vocalist and a performer who knows how to command a stage, she continues to prove that there is more than one string to her musical bow.
“Truckin’” is built around the idea of keeping your foot on the gas and pushing forward, whatever obstacles stand in your way. It is a straightforward message, but one that carries real meaning when you consider the hard work behind Jessica’s international career. Her willingness to bring a stronger rock influence into her music gives the single an extra edge, helping it stand apart from more conventional country releases.
Jessica has never been an artist to sit comfortably inside one genre, and that adventurous spirit is central to this release. Her experience touring internationally and sharing stages with legendary names has helped shape a confident performer who understands the importance of individuality.
Following the success of her 2025 album All I Own, “Truckin’” signals an artist continuing to move forward on her own terms.
Jessica Lynn delivers an energetic statement of intent with “Truckin’”, combining country attitude, rock spirit and a determined message. Sometimes you simply have to put your foot down and keep moving.
