Powerhouse singer Ronnie Romero returns to speak with Jace Media. I’m a big fan of his music and his work ethic, and thankfully my favorite of his bands, the Ferrymen, has released their powerful fourth album, Iron Will, via Frontiers Records. Rounded out by guitarist and composer Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear, Magnus Karlsson’s Free Fall) and drummer Mike Terrana (ex-Rage, ex-Masterplan), The Ferrymen deliver powerful metal anthems, and Iron Will picks up where its hard-edged melodic metal predecessor, One More River To Cross, left off.

Ronnie and I spoke about how the band’s namesake obliges them to take listeners on a journey and what it’s like to collaborate with such high-level players.
We also talk about fronting groups like Lords of Black, Sunstorm, and Elegant Weapons, and the upcoming tour in the UK and EU in March promoting his solo album, Too Many Lies, Too Many Masters, which is a terrific compilation of the hard-driving metal for which the native Chilean is known.
Additionally, we talked about the Convergence Tour with Gus G. in Germany in October 2025, which will see Ronnie share the stage with another one of the leading guitar heroes of the 21st century.
