Review By Glen Parkes
Soulweaver returns swinging with Lieaphobia, a single that captures the band at their most confident and streetwise. From the opening bars, the track bursts into life with a chunky guitar tone that sets the foundation for a lean, no-nonsense slice of modern hard rock. It’s bold, energetic, and unapologetically hook-driven, built to grab attention within seconds and refuse to let go.

There’s a buoyant groove at the heart of Lieaphobia that gives the song its infectious quality. The rhythm section locks in tightly, driving the track forward with a bounce that feels tailor-made for packed venues and raised fists. Over the top, the vocals cut through with a gritty edge, delivering attitude without tipping into excess. It’s the kind of performance that sounds effortless while still packing a real punch.
What stands out most is the song’s sense of balance. Lieaphobia doesn’t overcomplicate things; instead, it leans into strong songwriting, memorable phrasing, and a chorus that lingers long after the track ends. There’s a classic rock backbone here, but it’s sharpened with a contemporary sheen that keeps the sound fresh and relevant.
As a statement of intent, Lieaphobia does exactly what a great single should. It reinforces Soulweaver’s identity as a band built on power, groove, and accessibility, while hinting that there’s plenty more fuel left in the tank. If this is a sign of what’s ahead, Soulweaver’s next chapter looks seriously promising.
